Mr. Stan Warren is a principal in the firm of Warren Consulting Inc. (WCI), an independent company which he founded in June 1997. Mr. Warren’s expertise is focused in the healthcare environment and encompasses the design, development, and implementation of interfaces between disparate systems. In particular, WCI specializes in HL7 interface implementations. With 16 years of interface experience, WCI can pinpoint interface problems and eliminate the confusion and costly "finger pointing" between vendors. WCI's proven track record with successful projects substantially decreases the turn-around time of the solution to the problem. WCI also provides assistance in Functional and Technical Design specifications for all types of interfaces. Through his broad experience with the HL7 interface standard, Interface Engine technology, and systems development, Mr. Warren is capable of delivering a unique outlook and perspective on integration issues and interface implementation. Mr. Warren also performs custom software development, typically in an HBOC STAR environment.

Before establishing his own consulting firm, Mr. Warren worked as a Senior Consultant for Resources in Healthcare Innovations (RHI). Prior to his position at RHI, Mr. Warren spent 14 years in various systems/programming positions at HBO & Company (HBOC). In his last position at HBOC, Mr. Warren served as a Senior Systems Programmer and undertook special development projects for both U.S. and United Kingdom customers. Other accomplishments during his HBOC career included:

During the period 1990 through 1993, developed, installed, and supported all HL7 interfaces for all STAR products.
Developed the Reference Lab and Foreign Lab Result Storage Interfaces which were later included in STAR base product.
Served as HBOC’s representative to the HL7 Standards Committee.
